A vendor is sought to provide freelance content contributor services focused on reading and language arts. The provider will be responsible for enhancing the language, tone, and structure of educational materials to ensure clarity, age-appropriateness, and inclusivity. Tasks will include addressing language diversity, incorporating culturally responsive practices, and ensuring that all materials are free from grammatical errors and redundant phrasing.

The scope covers revising reading passages in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama, as well as maintaining the integrity of content by preserving learning objectives and instructional intent. Contributors will improve readability to match target grade levels, enhance engagement with clear and age-appropriate language, and ensure cultural sensitivity by providing inclusive representation and removing any biased language. Materials may include lesson documents such as slide decks, demonstration of learning assessments, student activities, answer keys, multiple choice and constructed response assessment items, and instructional supports like vocabulary lists, glossaries, and anchor charts.

The final content must match or improve upon the original structure and word count, supporting instructional accuracy and accessibility for diverse student populations.
