(1) Vendor needs to provide freelance content contributor services for reading and language arts. – make multiple awards and engage in contract(s) as needed with multiple vendors to meet client and division needs. – Procure professional writing services for existing Reading Language Arts materials to ensure they meet updated educational standards, improve clarity, enhance engagement, and align with accessibility, copyright laws, and grade–level appropriateness. – Enhance language, tone, and structure for clarity, age–appropriateness, and inclusivity. – Address language diversity and incorporate culturally responsive practices. – Ensure materials are free of grammatical errors and redundant phrasing. – Reading passages (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama). – These reading passages may be included in lesson documents such as: – Slide decks. – Demonstration of learning (DOL). – Student activities. – Learner, secured or securing, advanced, enriched (LSAE). – Answer keys. – Maintain Content Integrity: Preserve original learning objectives, instructional intent, and content accuracy. – Improve Readability: Rewrite for target grade–level readability. – Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure inclusive representation and remove any culturally insensitive or biased language. – Enhance Engagement: Use clear, engaging, and age–appropriate language.
