This RFP seeks a vendor to provide forestry and conservation education outreach services throughout Utah. The responsibilities include overseeing statewide implementation of the Project Learning Tree curriculum, providing Human Resource services for staff hired under the project, and supplying qualified personnel to coordinate and conduct tasks designated in the agreement and annual work plan.
The contractor will furnish annual work plans, cost estimates, and prepare Utah-specific workshop packets with supplemental environmental education materials for educators. They are expected to develop and maintain a statewide network of educators and facilitators, attend workshops and steering committees, and administer the educator in-service accreditation systems via the State Office of Education and State University. Additional duties involve developing outreach opportunities for agency programs, managing funds in accordance with standard accounting practices, providing open access to financial records for audits, and producing quarterly and end-of-year reports on activities and accomplishments.
