Vendor needs to provide fire station alerting system.– The selected solution must have the capability to integrate with Motorola Solutions FLEX CAD, Computer–Aided Dispatch system, and interface with the County’s digital radio system, network, and operational infrastructure. This system will be deployed across fire stations to enhance turnout times, improve firefighter health and wellness, streamline communications, and support future growth. • Rapid, simultaneous, and stacked alerting • Automated voice dispatch and station–level TTS backup • Zoned alerting • Red LED bunkroom lighting for night–time response • Integration with Motorola FLEX CAD • Redundant radio alerting capabilities • Remote/mobile alerting to personnel • Full centralized configuration, monitoring, and maintenance capabilities – The Fire Station Alerting System shall: 1. Be designed specifically for fire station alerting. 2. Use centralized POE and low–voltage infrastructure (CAT5e/CAT6). 3. Incorporate existing cabling when possible. 4. Ensure all devices are protected via UPS power support and include an uninterrupted power supply. 5. Use low–bandwidth (30–50 kb) for alerting. 6. Support a minimum of 10 stations/facilities with modular scalability. 7. Include heart–friendly customizable alerting (escalating audio / subdued lighting).
