A Virginia airport is seeking a qualified consultant to deliver financial operations business process assessment, optimization, and ERP advisory services. The engagement requires a thorough evaluation and documentation of existing financial business processes, with the goal of identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.

The consultant will design optimized, future-state finance processes in accordance with industry best practices applicable to airports and the public sector. The scope specifically covers finance-related functions, including general ledger, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close (Record-to-Report), requisitions, purchasing, accounts payable, vendor management (Procure-to-Pay), airport revenue cycles such as parking, airlines, concessions, billing, and collections (Order-to-Cash), budget and forecasting, grants and capital project accounting, as well as treasury, cash management, banking, and investments.

The selected firm will provide ERP advisory services based on the optimized processes and produce implementation-ready documentation to support future ERP procurement and deployment. Vendor neutrality is a requirement throughout the engagement. The initial contract period is two years.
