A county in New Mexico is seeking a qualified vendor to re-implement its Financial Services Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically Workday, and to provide comprehensive leadership academy services. The chosen partner must have a documented history of successful Workday ERP implementations for governmental or private-sector organizations of comparable size and complexity. Services will encompass full accrual accounting for government-wide financial statements, proprietary funds, and fiduciary funds.
The scope includes evaluating and enhancing grant management processes, such as grant setup, tracking, reporting, and posting rules, to align with best accounting practices. The vendor will also reassess operational configurations within the business assets module, including spend categories, asset book rules, and related business processes. Additionally, the vendor is expected to develop a library of essential financial reports needed for fund financial statements, budget to actual reports, accounts receivable and payable summaries, governmental fund balances, and grant reporting.
Leadership development will be addressed through coordinated trainings, retreats, assessments, and other professional development activities. The selected vendor will be responsible for facilitating group alignment meetings to support effective decision-making among financial services and IT teams. The contract also requires the creation of a user-friendly manual to serve as a reference for future use. All services must be delivered with the utmost professionalism, confidentiality, and impartiality. The contract term is three years.
