The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide maintenance and support services for its field appraisal system. This system is essential for estimating market values of sample properties throughout the state. The CPA plans to transition to a new platform in the future and may terminate the contract with advance notice upon the successful implementation of the replacement system.
Services required include ongoing software maintenance and technical support such as telephone and online assistance, error corrections, software updates, upgrades, patches, fixes, enhancements, new feature releases, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. The selected vendor will also be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining a current inventory of configuration changes for the A&T Pro (Orion) FAS, ensuring the security of configuration stores, and reporting any deviations from approved settings for review and approval.
Additionally, the contractor may use web-based remote access for support purposes, provided all connections to CPA information systems are initiated and monitored by CPA staff. The opportunity calls for vendors experienced in software system maintenance, support, and secure remote access in similar governmental or appraisal system environments.
