DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Rochester, Minnesota, seeks a qualified vendor to provide employment services for the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP). The program emphasizes career planning, coaching, the removal of participation barriers, and education—including financial empowerment—to improve employment skills and long-term financial stability.

Employment Service Providers will support participants in attaining positions that pay livable wages and offer health care benefits. Continuous support is expected through follow-up activities that promote job retention and career advancement. Key objectives for the program include increasing employment and training engagement, enhancing participant hours in education or training, and supporting exits from MFIP due to increased earned income. Providers must also deliver effective career guidance, develop individualized employment plans with incremental goal-setting, and facilitate access to job search resources and tool-building activities such as resume preparation and online job application strategies.
