An organization in Ohio is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive fair entertainment production services for a large annual fair. The scope of work includes booking, producing, and managing concerts and events held in the Celeste Center, a 10,000-seat, air-conditioned venue. The vendor will be responsible for entertainment buying, including providing a purchasing agent to work with booking agencies, gather price lists, and secure artists.

Production services are also required, with duties such as supplying a production coordinator to review contract riders, advance dates with artists’ representatives, oversee day-to-day stage operations, and coordinate the technical setup and teardown with sound and lighting companies. Additional responsibilities include scheduling stagehand calls, arranging catering, managing local ground transportation, assisting with ticketing, supervising security, and settling with artist representatives.

The vendor will also handle the booking and producing of grounds entertainment, covering four outdoor stages and roving acts. Attendance at key industry conferences and conventions is required each year at the vendor’s expense. The anticipated contract period is two years.
