An Ohio agency is seeking a vendor to provide a configurable, enterprise-level platform for faculty activity reporting, review, promotion, and tenure processes. The desired solution should support comprehensive faculty activity reporting and integrate seamlessly with systems such as Banner, Web of Science, and additional data sources. The system must offer flexible and automated workflows for Review, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT), as well as evaluations and documentation management.
The selected vendor will be responsible for full implementation, including data migration, user training, and ongoing support to ensure the platform is fully operational. The solution should support automated exchange, transfer, and loading (ETL) of faculty activity data from a variety of internal and external sources, leveraging mechanisms such as SFTP or RestAPI. The software must be customizable, offering an intuitive interface for creating RPT processes and enabling faculty to upload activities from external scholarly databases. Other requirements include automated creation of evaluation packets and letters, secure submission of confidential external reviews, emulation/proxy access for committees, robust reporting tools, workflow automation, audit activity logs, archival features, and bulk import/export functions.
The Faculty Activity Reporting system should accommodate academic activity reporting across teaching, clinical service, librarianship, scholarship, research, commercialization, creative activities, and multiple service categories. The contract is anticipated to span five years.
