DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Tampa, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide facility condition assessment services for a healthcare campus that includes two inpatient facilities, ambulatory outpatient surgery centers, ambulatory clinics, a cancer screening facility, and research laboratories. The selected firm will assess major building systems and infrastructure across this network of facilities to support cost-effective, high-quality healthcare operations.

The scope includes conducting field-verified assessments of major building systems and infrastructure, developing a standardized Asset Data Library compatible with agency and capital planning needs, and evaluating system conditions, expected useful life, regulatory vulnerabilities, and operational risks. The vendor will also support the development of a prioritized, risk-based capital renewal plan and conduct interviews with key facility and engineering staff to understand maintenance practices, known issues, and upcoming projects.

Assessment areas include building envelope systems such as exterior walls, windows, doors, waterproofing systems, and roofs; structural systems including foundations, framing, slabs, and load-bearing elements; and mechanical systems including generation and distribution equipment, boilers, chillers, and air handlers.
