A government authority in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide extreme switches and software. The scope includes Ethernet switches, modules, and accessories for local area network (LAN) connectivity. Required equipment consists of the Extreme 7520–48Y Switch, which ships with two AC power supplies, six fans, a 4-post rack mount kit, and supports 48x25/10/1G and 8x100/40G ports; the Extreme 7720–32C with front to back air flow, dual AC power supplies, six fans, a rack mount kit, and support for 32x40/100G ports; and the ExtremeSwitching 5420M offering 16 100Mb/1Gb/2.5Gb 802.3bt 90W PoE, 32 10/100/1000BASET FDX/HDX PoE+, stacking and SFP-DD, and MACsec capability.
Additionally, the project includes sourcing indoor WiFi 7 access points (AP) featuring multirate port internal antennas for the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by March 3, 2026.
