The organization is seeking a vendor to facilitate a one-day (8-hour) strategic planning and alignment retreat for its External Affairs team, which encompasses Marketing, Communications, and Customer Service and Experience. The facilitator will be responsible for leading the retreat activities and guiding the team through strategic discussions aligned with the agency’s 2026 goals, demonstrating how External Affairs contributes to these objectives.

Services will include the review and presentation of key themes identified from pre-retreat interviews and a document review process. The retreat should focus on clarifying the primary roles and responsibilities of each team member and establishing decision rights across major domains such as branding, campaigns, service changes, crisis communications, customer experience communications, and analytics.

Following the event, the vendor will be expected to provide a comprehensive written summary of the retreat’s outcomes, recommended next steps, and refinement of draft artifacts produced during the process.
