SUNY Maritime College is soliciting competitive sealed bids for comprehensive, single-source design-build services for an externally illuminated architectural "M" logo to be mounted on the exterior facade of Baylis Hall. The project includes professional NYS-licensed electrical and structural engineering services, shop drawings, sign and armature fabrication, an external architectural lighting package, and site logistics, rigging, and installation. The work must be completed within 60 days after the Notice to Proceed. The project is located at the SUNY Maritime College campus in Throggs Neck, New York.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a qualified, licensed contractor
  • Must provide NYS-licensed structural and electrical engineering services
  • Must demonstrate successful completion of at least four comparable contracts during the past five years
  • Must provide bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid
  • Must comply with New York State prevailing labor rates
