Project: Construct the High Explosive, Synthesis, Formulation, and Production (HESFP) facility. The new facilities will meet current codes, standards, and program needs at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas. PanTexas Deterrence, LLC (PXD) is seeking interested vendors to contract for the construction of a new HESFP facility at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, TX. PXD requires that the Subcontractor shall furnish the parts, labor, equipment, supplies, materials, documentation, inspection, spare parts, personal protective equipment, and management required for the new HESFP facility. The Pantex Plant is a Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration owned, contractor-operated facility located in Carson County, approximately 17 miles northeast of Amarillo, Texas. The new facility will provide NNSA with a modern and appropriately scaled capability to ensure the viability and capacity to produce high explosive material. Scope includes site preparation, utility demolition, potential clearing and grubbing, minor earthwork, permanent and temporary security fence installation, and utility work (domestic water, sanitary sewer, steam, natural gas) to connect from existing site locations to new demarcation points.
