Exclusive Vending Services

A government authority in Paramount, California is seeking a vendor to provide exclusive vending services for its school and administrative facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for installing, operating, servicing, and maintaining food and beverage vending machines across various district locations.

Proposals are expected to address machine specifications such as manufacturer, model, dimensions, power requirements, inventory communication software, and debit or credit card capabilities. The district requires compliance with student nutrition rules, including restrictions on vending sales to students during meal service periods unless products meet Smart Snacks standards and California Competitive Food requirements.

The vendor must also describe vandalism-deterrent machine features and agree to hold the district harmless for costs and liability related to vandalism of the machines. Service expectations include providing a method for reporting maintenance needs and responding within 48 hours to repair mechanical issues or restock empty slots. Vending machines may not be removed from district property without written approval from the designated district representative. The contract term will be for one year.
