An agency in Washington, DC seeks a qualified small business vendor to provide comprehensive event management services for parks and venues within the National Capital Area. The selected contractor will be responsible for planning and managing both recurring, regularly scheduled events as well as special one-time events throughout the year.
Key annual events include the Cherry Blossom Festival, Independence Day Celebration, Presidential Inauguration, National Symphony Orchestra concerts on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, the National Christmas Tree Lighting, Easter Egg Roll, Lotus and Lilly Festival, and the Fort DuPont Summer Concert Series. The scope may also expand to cover additional nonrecurring events as needed. This opportunity is open exclusively to small businesses with expertise in event planning and management.
