A request for experienced vendors is open for event rigging services in British Columbia. The selected vendor will be responsible for the safe rigging of all temporary overhead items, including but not limited to lighting trusses, sound systems, video equipment, banners and signage, cameras, special effects, performers, and overhead components for exhibit booths. Services will be required for all events that necessitate rigging.

Additional responsibilities include the creation and review of rigging point load plans for suspended structures, materials, equipment, and personnel. The vendor will also be tasked with reviewing and approving all rigging plans, as well as certain ground-supported production structures when necessary. Collaboration with venue staff and event partners is essential to ensure clients harness the full potential of event rigging, supporting both traditional and innovative rigging solutions to create memorable event experiences.

The term of the resulting contract will be two years. An optional site visit for interested vendors is scheduled for February 20, 2026, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by March 2, 2026.
