DESCRIPTION

The contracting entities seek a vendor to provide equitable community engagement services that build trust and relationships among cities, the county, and community members. The vendor will serve as a trusted liaison, facilitate two-way information sharing, and conduct background and technical research to identify communities that are most impacted or likely to experience significant impacts.

Services include developing accessible online, social media, radio, video, and print outreach and educational materials for audiences with diverse languages, ages, cultures, abilities, and levels of familiarity with the relevant issue. The vendor will identify and implement equity-focused and creative engagement strategies, including arts, music, cultural activities, meetings, workshops, surveys, polling, and mapping exercises where traditional public meetings may be ineffective.

The vendor will lead engagement activities and follow-up, document and analyze outcomes, and assess success in reaching priority populations. Responsibilities may also include planning and facilitating in-person and virtual events, with related support such as food, room rentals, childcare, community compensation, translation and interpretation, and accessibility services. Questions must be submitted by September 25, 2026.
