The selected vendor will be responsible for refreshing the current virtual environment and migrating all virtualized workloads, data, configurations, and associated licenses to a modernized, fully operational infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include conducting a thorough assessment and inventory of the existing environment, covering ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, resource pools, virtual machines, datastores, storage systems, networking, backups, replication, and system dependencies. Security hardening must be performed according to both VMware best practices and local security guidelines. The project also requires validation and configuration of backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.

A structured migration plan must be developed and executed, encompassing live or scheduled migrations of virtual machines and storage, and validation of application and service functionality. Performance and failover testing, as well as operational readiness verification, are mandatory before final acceptance of the refreshed environment.
