(1) Vendor needs to provide enterprise resource planning system consulting service. • Develop an implementation plan, assist in evaluating, selecting, and negotiating a contract with a preferred system vendor, and, optionally, facilitate some client–side project management during implementation of the new ERP. • Develop test scripts based on the functional requirements that require successful completion of each functional requirement and system configuration. • Identify and address ways to minimize project risks. • Monitor data conversion/migration. • Take advantage of the newest technology and harness efficiencies by reviewing business processes or implementing technology to enhance existing business processes performed by individual departments and those performed across the City. – Technology is intended to enhance these business processes by: • Reducing costs • Improving decision–making • Providing enhanced customer service • Improving access to information • Making them more efficient • Making them more effective • Improving accountability
