A municipality in British Columbia is seeking consulting services and a solution provider for the replacement of its existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The objective is to obtain a modern, cloud-based ERP solution with an advanced interface and architecture, designed to support both current and future municipal needs. Preference will be given to systems inherently built with contemporary frameworks.

The selected vendor will collaborate closely with the municipality's project team, leading efforts to define the procurement strategy and approach for the ERP replacement. Key responsibilities include conducting a thorough review of the current legacy ERP system (Microsoft Great Plains), identifying capability gaps, and establishing critical success factors and evaluation criteria for the new system. The vendor will also assist with contract deliverables, service level review, and the development of an ERP Replacement RFP evaluation scorecard, as well as contribute to the future state visioning process with stakeholders.

This initiative aims to ensure a seamless transition from an end-of-life financial system to a robust, scalable ERP platform tailored to the municipality’s evolving requirements.
