The Headquarters Air Force Reserves Command (AFRC) at Robins Air Force Base is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to support market research for planning a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) covering general construction projects throughout the continental United States. This RFI seeks industry feedback and is not a solicitation; its primary purpose is to gather information to assist with potential procurement strategies for future contracting needs.
The anticipated scope of work includes a wide range of general construction services such as new construction, alterations, renovations, demolitions, and repair of real property and infrastructure. Types of tasks may cover facility interior and exterior repairs, carpentry, drywall, flooring, roofing systems, HVAC components, electrical and plumbing upgrades, application of paints and coatings, as well as horizontal construction including asphalt and concrete paving for roads, parking lots, and sidewalks. These requirements are outlined in a draft Performance Work Statement, which may be updated during acquisition planning. Respondents should note that the RFI is non-binding and submissions will not form any contract with the government.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experienced general contractor with nationwide project capabilities
• Past performance with U.S. federal or military construction contracts
• Capable of self-performing or managing multi-trade construction projects (renovation, roofing, mechanical, and paving)
• Proven compliance with federal contracting and security requirements
