(1) Vendor needs to provide engineering services for transmission and distribution to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA. These engineering and design tasks will be executed on a time and material (T&M) basis. Design and engineering tasks will be implemented according to the engineering and design process described in the Engineering and Design Process. The work may include engineering and design of existing assets or new installations, engineering studies, engineering analysis, work scope development, equipment specifications, etc. Underground Distribution: a. Calculations for cable ampacity, induced voltage on cable shield, voltage regulation, conduit fill and cable pulling tensions b. Economic comparisons c. Cable selection d. Duct and manhole design e. Tunnel design f. Plan and profile drawings g. Bills of material h. Preparation of specifications and drawings i. Preparation of material and construction bid packages j. Engineering, design and installation cost estimates k. Design and drafting support for designated engineer. (2) A pre–proposal conference will be held on February 17, 2026.
