Robbinsdale, MN is seeking a qualified engineering consultant to provide services focused on creating safe and accessible transportation facilities and implementing corridor safety improvements. The selected consultant will oversee all aspects of concept development and preliminary design, supporting a public engagement process while reviewing and refining existing plans.
Key responsibilities include the design of comfortable facilities accommodating all travel modes and users of all ages and abilities. The scope also encompasses developing a confirmed detour route and preparing a construction staging narrative during the preliminary design phase. Further, the consultant will be tasked with enhancing intersection safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and individuals using mobility devices; implementing design modifications to improve safety along transportation corridors; and ensuring that sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, and crossings are fully ADA compliant.
