A government authority in New York is seeking vendors to provide engineering design services. The scope of work includes conducting visual inspections focused on identifying issues such as cracking, delamination, exposed reinforcement, erosion, and biological growth in existing structures. Contractors will also perform a structural assessment including evaluation of wall thickness, concrete strength, and reinforcement conditions.

The project further requires a hydraulic assessment to study flow patterns, intake velocities, and sediment deposition, as well as a geotechnical assessment targeting foundation stability and seepage paths. Testing and measurements such as core samples, rebound hammer assessments, leak qualification, and investigation of water quality impacts are also required. Comprehensive photographic documentation and mapping of observed defects will form a crucial part of the deliverables.
