(1) Vendor needs to provide engineering and architectural services to the government authority located in Trenton, NJ. Agency is requesting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms with historic preservation expertise to develop a Preservation Plan, provide design development and manage Stage 1 of construction. The goal of this project is to assess the current structural and architectural condition of the building, identify necessary repairs and historic preservation measures, and provide a phased implementation plan for rehabilitation with cost estimates. The proposal should be broken into three parts: Phase 1: A Preservation Plan prepared in compliance with standards outlined by New Jersey Historic Preservation Office, Historic Structure Reports & Preservation Plans: A Preparation Guide (2nd Ed.) that includes, 1) a structural, environmental and building systems evaluation of current conditions that will guide the remainder of the project, and 2) phased treatment recommendations with prioritization and cost estimates based on the evaluation; Phase 2: Design and Concept Development; and Phase 3: Initial construction documents, bidding assistance and project management for the first stage of the construction.
