Vendor needs to provide EMS billing software. • Patient statements – cost should include the mailing of at least three patient statements per claim. • Insurance discovery – software should have integrated insurance discovery tools built–in that can be utilized an unlimited number of times, at claim–level, at no additional cost, and without leaving the software. • Insurance eligibility – software should have integrated insurance eligibility tools built–in that can be utilized an unlimited number of times, at claim–level, at no additional cost, and without leaving the software. • EMS Charts integration – software should be able to accept charts from EMS charts via web service at no additional cost. • Chart and claim reconciliation – software should be able to, via a single built–in report, reconcile charts and claims to ensure all expected charts were imported and a claim was properly generated for all such charts. • Dashboard – software should have a user dashboard which displays all needed information for each user’s workflow to include claims assigned to the individual user and statuses of all claims (both submitted and to–be submitted) such as those needing follow–up for not having been adjudicated and denials. • Reporting – built–in reporting options to include canned reports as well as the ability to build reporting “dashboards” which will display reporting data in real–time. • Awarded proposer shall provide training and implementation of software.
