DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Midhurst, Ontario seeks proposals from experienced providers for employee group benefits and insurance services. The services include group life, Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), short-term disability (STD), accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), and long-term disability (LTD) insurance. Extended health care (EHC) and dental benefits are required on an Administrative Services Only (ASO) basis.
The objectives of the RFP include benchmarking the competitiveness of current financial arrangements, achieving enhanced service, technology and value, exploring additional cost savings and rate stability, and ensuring exceptional ongoing service. The selected provider must utilize advanced claims adjudication practices for fraud management and leverage new technology for plan administration and member services. The contract will have a period of one year.
