DESCRIPTION


The contracted provider will provide employee assistance services for clients of the Kansas Lawyers Assistance Program in Topeka, Kansas. Services will include up to 12 outpatient counseling sessions per year for lawyers, bar applicants, and law students referred by the program.

The provider will offer or arrange in-person and virtual appointments with licensed professionals for assessment, counseling, and treatment. Services will also include referrals to appropriate drug assessment, education, or treatment programs following confirmed positive drug or alcohol screening results; relapse prevention support; and group counseling for individuals affected by high-stress events or crises, including suicide, sudden death, large-scale layoffs, or other traumatic events.

The provider will submit annual reports incorporating the required information from monthly reporting. The contract period will be two years, and all questions must be submitted by September 22, 2026.
