The contractor will be responsible for the technology, manufacturing, logistics, administration, operations, training, and support services required to operate the electronic temporary registration program.
The solution must include a secure, web-based electronic temporary registration issuance system; tamperproof and weather-resistant synthetic plate stock; secure design and manufacturing; and specialized plates incorporating approved, unique security features. It must also support unique serialization, electronic inventory control, dealer and authorized-user enrollment and account administration, and secure collection and transmission of vehicle, purchaser, dealer, credential, and transaction information.
