The State of Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) system designed to support clinical and administrative functions. The required system must include patient online scheduling for both new and existing patients, provider calendaring capabilities, and features to track annual form due dates, including notifications for minor consent during scheduling and pre-registration.
The EHR system should feature a robust patient portal that enables registration, scheduling for initial and follow-up visits, electronic forms, documentation uploads, secure patient-to-provider messaging, and linkage to patient charts. Additional requirements include outreach campaign functionality targeted to students, the ability to create and customize forms and system content, and capabilities to print registration and insurance information for external laboratory orders.
Functionality must also include the ability to display laboratory test results with customizable formats, support for multi-source and complex billing processes, and integrated video recording and storage solutions suitable for clinical supervision. The contract period for the selected vendor will be three years.
