DESCRIPTION


The issuing organization is seeking information on a modern, scalable electronic health record system designed to support psychiatric inpatient care. The requested platform should improve workflow efficiency and include advanced clinical tools, robust reporting and analytics, interoperability and integration capabilities, artificial intelligence-enabled functionality, and strong data privacy and security controls.

The system is expected to support core psychiatric hospital workflows such as admissions, transfers, discharges, psychiatric evaluations, multidisciplinary treatment planning, and discharge planning. It should also address the needs of forensic and competency-to-stand-trial patient populations, including legal status management, court-related workflows, and patient tracking.

In addition, the platform should provide hospital-grade medication management functionality, including computerized provider order entry, electronic medication administration records, medication reconciliation, psychotropic medication workflows, and broader medication management processes. The solution should integrate with automated medication dispensing systems and support real-time medication order interfacing, cabinet inventory management, user authentication, controlled substance workflows, discrepancy handling, override tracking, and reconciliation.

The requested EHR platform should also include an integrated billing or revenue cycle component as well as a fully integrated pharmacy management module.
