The State of Mississippi is seeking a vendor to provide an electronic health record (EHR) solution that supports the full continuum of care. The system must facilitate workflows from referral and intake through assessment, treatment planning, service delivery, discharge, and post-discharge follow-up. Key capabilities include tracking and managing referral information—such as referral source, date, reason, and status—with the ability to move seamlessly into admission or intake processes, and automated notifications to support timely action on pending items.
The required EHR solution must feature robust front desk and scheduling operations, including comprehensive appointment management, provider calendar coordination, waitlist administration, and support for cancellations and rescheduling. It should accommodate recurring and group sessions, provide automated reminders, and offer real-time visibility of availability across multiple locations, programs, and providers, with role-based access controls. For group therapy, the system should enable configurable group capacity, enrollment management, and flexible participant administration.
Additional requirements include the ability to collect and manage demographic, insurance, and consent information, including program-specific data that can be updated as needed. The system must support documentation and management of service encounters, session notes, progress monitoring, and other data to ensure compliance and support quality assurance. Secure internal messaging or alerts are necessary for both clinical and administrative tasks, including integration with email platforms where appropriate. The contract for the chosen EHR solution will have a duration of one year.
