(1) Vendor needs to provide electronic and physical ticketing, POS, and gate access system. Gate admission, concerts, races, rodeo and carnival are ticketed online or at the three main gates for the Fair. Photo ID credentials are created through the current e-ticketing web-based platform. The same platform and equipment are used by all employees, vendors, superintendents and volunteers for access to the Fair through printed passes or credentials. Credit card transactions are posted daily to the County’s merchant account from the online sales. Goals include accuracy, simplification and accountability; customer-focused service through easy to use online and box office sales systems; real-time reporting of ticket sales, revenue and attendance; comprehensive reporting capabilities; and additional marketing capabilities (web, mobile, social networking, etc.). Scope includes: i. Point of Sale (POS) ticketing for gate admission, box office & grandstand (auto racing, concerts with reserved seating, ADA), rodeo, and carnival; ii. Credentialing focused on credentials for the Evergreen State Fair; iii. Scanning or similar system to verify entry into the fairgrounds; iv. Web-based and mobile friendly e-ticketing to be used year-round and for Fair; and v. Equipment necessary for box office POS and gate scanning systems. There are 24 selling locations and 35 scanning locations (Fair entry points OR Grandstand entry points) during Fair, along with two credential printers, credential cardstock, and ticket stock. (2) All questions must be submitted no later than February 5, 2026.
