The State of Maryland is seeking information from vendors regarding automated verification solutions for election results. The requested solutions should be capable of performing automated tabulation audits by electronically comparing election results from the voting system with either the actual ballots, digital images of ballots, or both.

Respondents are asked to describe whether their solution utilizes physical ballots, digital images, or a combination of both in the audit process. Detailed information should be provided on how the solution performs tabulation and reporting of election results, including the types of reports generated. Additionally, solutions should indicate if they include capabilities for reviewing and determining voter intent on ballots that cannot be automatically interpreted. The contract term for this project is anticipated to be one year.
