A contract opportunity is available for the deployment and ongoing support of an Edge Computing Mobile Learning Platform and related services across six African countries: Algeria, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Sudan. The selected vendor will be tasked with delivering a comprehensive mobile-based digital learning solution, comprising a Learning Management System (LMS) integrated with edge computing technology.
Key responsibilities include the deployment, localization, and maintenance of a fully operational mobile LMS with support for 100,000 licensed accounts over a three-year period. The solution must feature localized and mobile-optimized teacher training content, the installation of 49 edge computing units distributed among the six countries to support offline learning, and the incorporation of community-of-practice features within the LMS. Additionally, the platform should include integrated data analytics dashboards and reporting tools to monitor usage and learning outcomes.
The contract also requires the provision of technical support and troubleshooting services for at least 12 months post-deployment. Vendors with experience in large-scale digital learning platforms, edge computing implementation, and multilingual or multi-country deployments are encouraged to apply.
