DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Martinez, California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive domestic violence liaison services for children and families involved with county child welfare. The selected vendor will conduct in-person domestic violence risk assessments for referred clients and deliver written documentation outlining levels of risk and service recommendations to address interpersonal violence.

The provider will assist family members in developing ongoing safety plans to protect against future violence, as well as accompany social work staff on home visits to offer consultation and client risk assessment during these interviews. Additionally, the vendor will participate in internal case staffing meetings as a domestic violence subject matter expert and refer clients to specialized providers for in-depth lethality assessments as required by the juvenile court. The contract will be awarded for a one-year period.
