The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) is seeking a vendor to provide a SaaS-based composable digital experience platform to power its public website, which encompasses over 4,000 webpages. The desired platform should ensure optimal page load and response times, modular site development, and advanced headless content management that enables efficient content entry, editing, and publishing. This will allow reusable content to be deployed sitewide with a single action, supporting rapid responses to urgent data needs and streamlining publishing workflows.
Compatibility with Microsoft technologies—particularly ASP.NET and optimization for MS Azure PaaS—is essential, given NIDDK’s existing .NET investments. The solution should enable multi-team, multi-user collaboration, allowing separate content owners to independently manage their sections without heavy reliance on software developers. Additional requirements include support for containerized development, continuous deployment workflows, draft content previews, robust media library capabilities for managing more than 7,000 digital assets, and integrated visitor analytics and personalization tracking.
The platform must also support multi-site and multi-language environments, including Spanish-language content, to address the needs of a diverse range of departments and projects. Access to technical support through the Sitecore Support Portal is also required.
