The City of Ontario is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive digital aerial imagery solution to support its municipal operations, engineering, design, and planning activities. The required solution must facilitate the collection and delivery of aerial imagery data, supporting visualization and analysis in both 2D and 3D formats. Integration with a variety of municipal software systems—including ESRI, Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, VertiGIS, Infor Public Sector, TopoDOT, Summit Evolution, and Trimble SketchUp—is essential.

The chosen vendor will deliver a range of digital imagery products and related datasets, such as high-resolution orthomosaics, oblique imagery, stereo models, infrared aerial imagery (optional), digital vector datasets, digital terrain models (DEM, DSM, contours), and aerial LiDAR with point classification (optional). Additionally, the solution should provide 3D mesh imagery, 3D point clouds, and options for LOD 2.5 city-wide massing model maintenance and image draping.

This initiative supports Ontario’s ongoing efforts to enhance its digital aerial imagery capabilities and expand 3D visualization and analysis within daily workflows. The successful vendor will supply municipal staff with the necessary products, tools, and training to meet a wide variety of use cases. Interested parties must submit any questions regarding the project by January 20, 2026.
