The requesting agency seeks proposals for a next-generation Inventory Management Technology solution to replace its legacy software. The new platform should extend beyond conventional Warehouse Management Systems, aiming to enhance employee engagement and efficiency throughout the supply chain. The technology must support secure API endpoints using SSL, be capable of rapid deployment, and integrate with Army Active Directory for two-factor authentication, single sign-on, and comprehensive user access auditing. Configurable inactivity timeouts for the web console are also required.
Key functionalities should include processing inventory requests, supporting manufacturing, assembly, and kitting operations, as well as procurement and fulfillment planning. The solution must facilitate site transfers, warehouse controls such as cycle counts and inventory adjustments, and comprehensive reporting features that support real-time data output, customizable production event reports, data spot checks, and event tracking. Administrative users must be able to add or remove user accounts, modify permissions, and enforce password protection across accounts.
