Vendor needs to provide destination development director service.– This position will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a county–wide Destination Marketing and Management Strategy and related activities, ensuring a sustainable balance of tourism promotion as a critical and highly–valued economic–driver for the region and recognizing the impacts it can create for the local communities and the environment.– The Destination Development Director role provides strategic leadership and oversight of county–wide destination branding, directs tourism promotional marketing, ensures alignment across various destination management initiatives, and focuses on economic outcomes, responsible recreation messaging, events promotion, and mainstreets marketing.– For developing an annual work plan, destination management programs and implementing all administrative, operational, financial, marketing, and destination management functions, yielding resilience and year–round vitality of the County’s tourism–based economy.
