The City of Framingham, Massachusetts, is seeking qualified designer services for the reconstruction of tennis and basketball courts, as well as associated site improvements. The selected designer will utilize existing design documents and input gathered from meetings with City staff, including Parks and Recreation representatives, to formulate and refine a final concept plan. The process will involve leading and attending meetings, conducting necessary presentations, and ensuring all aspects of previous alternatives are considered in creating the most advantageous site layout.

Responsibilities include providing thorough analysis and justification for the preferred design, conducting a field investigation of site utilities that may impact the court renovations, and evaluating existing drainage structures, electrical panels, and other relevant utilities. The designer will prepare comprehensive topographic and conditions surveys extending at least 30 feet beyond project boundaries, documenting all structures, courts, access routes, drainage features, utility elements, and any flagged wetland boundaries. Deliverables should include base plans with one-foot contour intervals and all visible features. All work required to achieve comprehensive design development is expected.
