A government authority in Juneau, Alaska is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive design, construction administration, and inspection services for a facility project. The scope includes delivering all necessary professional design and engineering services to produce complete, bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, a bid schedule, and an architect’s cost estimate.

The selected firm will be responsible for architectural, mechanical, and electrical design, as well as providing cost estimating services. While preliminary space programming and a budget-level cost estimate have already been performed, the vendor will need to further refine both the space program and technical requirements prior to beginning design activities.

The project also requires surveying the existing facility, including conducting a hazardous building materials survey and submitting a written assessment report. The vendor will review and evaluate the current facility for proposed renovations, and develop demolition drawings as needed, including documentation for hazardous material abatement if required. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for December 12, 2025.
