The Town of Basalt, Colorado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide design and entitlement services for the development of a new Public Service Building. The project aims to consolidate municipal operations and create purpose-built, heated storage facilities for weather-sensitive equipment, ultimately improving the longevity and value of these assets. The scope of work includes significant support for a new Police Department facility and considerations for affordable housing within the proposed development.

Responsibilities will include developing and implementing a public outreach strategy in close coordination with agency staff. The selected vendor will facilitate community engagement activities such as public meetings and stakeholder outreach to gather and synthesize input that informs project programming and conceptual design. Additional tasks include coordinating with agency staff and stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with adopted plans, policies, and Council directives, reviewing previous planning efforts, making recommendations on Sketch Plan development, and presenting findings to the agency Council for approval.
