(1) Vendor needs to provide demolition, asbestos abatement, lead paint and hazardous materials removal downtown structures services to the government authority located in Gainesville, FL.– Federal Law establishing accreditation requirement for asbestos inspectors, contractors, and supervisors.– Non–hazardous waste materials generated from demolition or construction activities.– A safety planning process used to identify hazards and mitigation measures before work begins.– A hazardous chemical found in some older electrical components (e.g., ballasts) regulated.– Federal law regulating the generation, transport, and disposal of hazardous waste.– State agency responsible for environmental regulation, hazardous waste, asbestos NESHAP enforcement, and waste facility permitting.– provide all labor, equipment, permitting, mobilization, supervision, abatement services, demolition services, transportation, and disposal required to fully abate and demolish the designated structures.– Removal and lawful disposal of all asbestos–containing materials (ACM).– Compliance with lead–based paint disturbance and disposal requirements.– Removal, handling, and disposal of any hazardous substances discovered during demolition.– Complete structural demolition to concrete slab or subgrade.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 14, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years. (4) Mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on January 7, 2026.
