A government facility in Togo, Minnesota requires design services for a range of deferred maintenance projects focused on HVAC, fire safety, and architectural improvements. The scope of work includes comprehensive mechanical, electrical, low voltage, structural, and architectural design services to upgrade the Unit Ventilator system in Building No. 15, Health Services SUD (Substance Use Disorder).

Key project elements involve replacing ten existing Unit Ventilators—nine in classrooms and one in an administration office—with new, high-efficiency floor-mounted units for improved maintenance access. The two on-site boilers will remain and be incorporated into the new system. Interior and exterior architectural modifications are necessary to accommodate the new equipment, and new ductwork will be installed to enhance air distribution throughout the classrooms, hallway, and office.

Additional upgrades include the replacement of rooftop condensers, maintaining their current location, and enhancements to the facility's fire safety systems, such as upgraded fire smoke dampers, a new fire panel, and new fire smoke detectors. The building's existing propane tank will continue serving as the fuel source. The contract for these design services will be for a one-year period, with all vendor questions to be submitted by December 30, 2025.
