A government authority in Columbia, Missouri is seeking vendors to provide data transport services through a telecommunications-based delivery system. The proposed network will connect higher education institutions, K-12 schools, public libraries, state agencies, telehealth sites, and various organizations and government agencies to each other and the Internet.

The Public Service Commission will ensure that all public school districts have access to reduced telecommunications rates and may approve or modify tariff submissions in the public interest. Respondents should note that most customers are public school districts, some of whom may be included in this RFP. All questions regarding the proposal must be submitted by March 5, 2026. The contract is anticipated to span three years.
