The agency seeks a vendor to develop and implement a comprehensive data lake, reporting, and visualization platform. The project involves architectural design strategies that address internal objectives, state security frameworks, and federal appropriations requirements through a centralized data lake ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include constructing a secure GCP/BigQuery data lake foundation, implementing a Bronze/Silver/Gold pipeline architecture, and creating initial centralized dashboards for the agency. The vendor will also oversee multi-tenant data ingestion, custom Student Information System (SIS) mapping, and integration of previously unmanaged data ('dark data') into the data lake. Additional duties include remote configuration of local edge hardware and facilitating the migration of on-premises virtual machines to the cloud infrastructure across 53 K-12 school agencies.

The selected partner will be expected to deliver robust system integration, support secure cloud migration, and enable enhanced analytics and reporting capabilities across schools.

Best-fit vendors:

• Experience with large-scale GCP/BigQuery data lake implementations

• Proven track record in K-12 or public sector data integration

• Expertise in data pipeline architecture and cloud migration

• Capability to manage multi-tenant environments and hardware integration

• Strong understanding of state and federal security frameworks
