The City of San Francisco is seeking a qualified consultant to provide data collection, technical report writing, and design services in support of the Restoring Wildcat Creek Project. This initiative aims to develop a comprehensive, watershed-scale restoration action plan, implement crucial restoration activities in the lower watershed, and address existing gaps in trail access that hinder underserved communities from reaching the shoreline and associated improvements.

Key responsibilities include producing a revised Watershed Restoration Action Plan (Re-WRAP) encompassing the entire 13.8-mile Wildcat Creek watershed, with updated data that reflects current geomorphic and hydraulic conditions. The consultant will conduct two specialized studies: a Sediment Dynamics Assessment and Management Framework, and an Upper Watershed Water Quality and Fish Habitat Monitoring and Report. Design deliverables include 100% engineer-certified construction plans for a direct trail route and for a pedestrian bridge, as well as a Feasibility Study and Alternatives Analysis for the segment between Rumrill Blvd and the fish ladder, identifying and evaluating 2–3 project alignments.

The scope of work also involves regular engagement with project partners to structure deliverables, coordinate project components, and share findings. This partnership-driven approach emphasizes improving ecological outcomes and enhancing trail access for underserved communities along the Wildcat Creek corridor.
